Food Safety Certifications
To support Moxie's growing food service providers, we offer food safety certifications.
The following certification are available: (1) Monroe Country L2 Food Safety Certification for the Food Handler, valid for 3 years and certified by the Monroe County Health Department, and (2) L1 Food Manager, valid for 5 years and certified by the National Registry for Food Safety Professionals.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 people (any combination of L1 and L2)
Costs:
- $50 per person (L2)
- $100 per person (L1)
- $50 charge per group for room reservation, if unable to host training at organization
- $10 certification reprint
- $75 recertifcation (L1) (those certified through moxie only)
- $40 recertification (L2) (those certified through moxie only)
Class:
- L1, 6 hours of L2 and 3 hours of L1 instruction, three or two 4.5 hour sessions
- L2, 6 hours, either one full day or two three hour sessions
